Foundations of Reflexive School Didactics

Learning is an event that for years on end has been an object of study in pedagogy, psychology, ethology, philosophy, and other scholarly fields. Today the ability to learn is one of the key competences encoded in the state educational standard for general-education preparation in school. This means that the teacher, as manager, mentor, or facilitator in the classroom, is expected to help form and develop this ability in the pupils. The fact that no small part of today's students — future educators — find it difficult to learn is a well-founded reason for this book to appear.
