Description
The need to create an integrated society leads to the formation of various unions or associations on the basis of political or economic interests. Integration is a process that develops not only within a particular country or a local territory, but embraces large geographical regions on a global scale. The regional policy of the European Economic Community (EEC) — the European Union (EU) — in 1988 for the first time turned its attention to the "Rural Areas" and their development within the borders of the union.
Infrastructure is a constituent part of the productive forces of society and, as a rule, does not create a product, but only assists the development of material, spiritual, and ecological betterment. Under the conditions of contemporary life, infrastructure is an important factor in socio-economic and ecological development at the micro, meso, and macro level. In the book I point out and analyze four kinds of infrastructure — production, social, ecological, and green.
